Longer than the other novellas, and romance wise it was my favourite. I can’t wait to actually start this series but due to the fact I was lazy this year and spent at times weeks not reading, I’m very behind on my reading so I’m just going to catch up on all my novella prequels before the end of the year.

Jessamy and Galen. Love where 2 beings aren’t completely perfect physically is so refreshing. It’s a novella, but not instant love which is a rare thing in the romance world. Thoroughly enjoyed this and want to read the rest of the series.

This is technically a prequel to the Guild Hunter series but I don’t think I would recommend reading it till you’ve actually read at least the first book in the series just because there’s very little context and world building in this novella. Yet for someone who’s already a fan of the series and has context for the amazing world building that takes place in the main series, this is adorable and really brings side characters Galen and Jessamy to life and makes you want more of them in the main books. This isn’t essential reading but more one for the fans.

This book was sweet and lovely. I wish it was a full length novel.

It was great to catch a view of everyone, discovering slice of their life and temperament.
Galen is definitely an amazing angel.
and the angel dance....holy hell, it was definitely not what i expected, ever since i heard Raphael talking about it with Elena. It could not get more creative than this.

I am so looking forward to continue with the rest of the series.

This world of archangels and angels is so beautiful and outstanding. i cannot get enough.

When I saw that there was novellas/short stories to go with this series, I thought they would be background stories on certain characters.. I did not expect to get romances in them too! I guess I should just learn to expect the best when it comes to Nailin Singh.

Of course we get Jessamy and Galen! I was so freakin' pleased. The flightless teacher and the rough-and-tough soldier. Oh my sweet lawrd. I was excited to read this.

The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that I got lost a bit in the plot. I'm not sure if it was too much for a novella and my brain or what. But I still really enjoyed it.
