I'm glad I read book #1 first, this one would've had me not even trying the other books in the series. My problem is, I'm not a fan of the authors writing style (run-on, paragraph-long sentences, wonky dialog syntax and structure, etc) and a number of those techniques are littered everywhere in Angels' Dance. But from Angels' Blood (#1), I know I can look past those if the story is amazing. I do plan to continue the series.

I found this a little boring, but I like the characters. Like Jessamey and Galen. I loved the anghast between this couple.

“I couldn’t bear to be in anyone’s arms but yours.”

One of my favourite novellas in this series, both Galen and Jessamy are adorable and their story is ever so sweet. Galen is such a delicious barbarian and to be honest I was crushing on him even when he was being hard on Elena in [b:Archangel's Kiss|6582637|Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2)|Nalini Singh|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1347971407s/6582637.jpg|6579113]. I want to make really inappropriate comments about how I'd like to train with his weapons but I'll keep it classy.
