So good! Full of suspense and tons of twists. I read this book in 10 hours. So it is definitely a good book! Couldn’t put it down.

Different from her other books. Good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ this one was just ok. It’s about two women who are both full of secrets and living lives that don’t being to them. The first half was pretty good, but it was dragging by the end.

Typical suspense book. Enjoyable.

Just didn't keep my attention. Maybe revisit.

This was full of twists and turns.

Somethings were pretty out there. I don’t really know how to review this book without giving away spoilers.
It sucked me right in and yes sometimes it was confusing but in the end it came around and we learned the who what and why.
But the fact is we still had a lot of holes in the background of most of the main characters and that was a little annoying to say the least.
I enjoyed the narration I think Gail Shalan did a good job.

SUCKED ME IN, I listened to this audiobook in 1 sitting! I couldn't stop it and needed to know what was going on. So many twists, I loved it!

This was my first book by this author and what a great introduction it was! It's a plus she is from Ontario, which is always neat.

Writing: 4/5 - Plot: 4/5 - Ending: 4/5

This was written very strongly! It had great descriptions, pacing, etc. I did find myself not caring for the characters as much as I wanted to.

The plot is layered well, and more complex than I anticipated. It was paced well, worked out well, but ultimately started to tire out by the end for me - I read a book with this similar plot trope recently and felt that one was done better.

That aside, I still really enjoyed this book and felt it was a great domestic style thriller.
