really interesting read--this was my first Dickens in a long while (since the Pickwick Papers a few years ago, which I LOVED), and this was definitely a pleasant novel. I think it worked a lot better for me than did North and South, although they did focus in on similar ideas. Looking forward to exploring more of Dickens sometime soon :)
