This was a sweet YA love story, but it wasn’t for me. I wasn’t very interested in the lives of these beautiful, privileged rich kids, and there was a lot of time dedicated to describing their day-to-day schooling and partying. The middle was the most interesting part, with Baker and Hanna struggling with internalised homophobia and the expectations of their very religious community. It all wraps up far too neatly for my liking though. Really could have used a substantial edit too.
This book made me want to punch a hole in the wall but it think it was also a very good look at Christian and being queer and how those things fit together. It very well written and as much as I hated reading some parts I ended really loving it in the end. I read this online well actually listened to it but I’m really considering buying a Physical copy
