I really liked the book but I must say that at some point there was just to much angst for me and no relief.

It was a but slow for my liking, but it definitely came through in the end. It touched on a lot of things I hadn’t let myself really consider at the end.

It includes a lot of relationships between friends, families and teachers that i really liked. It had a sad vibe through the middle but it was really cute overall

I'm 200% gay now... Nee serieus kapot goed boek wow

I haven't read a book that has had this big of an impact on me in a long long time. I can't quite quantify everything about it that I love, but I just don't know why this book isn't talked about by everyone, everywhere. If you love queer fiction, are a queer person, or just love genuinely moving storytelling, you must read this book.

I know the whole intent was to make this about discovering yourself while balancing the weight of the church and church expectations…. But for me, it felt a little heavy handed. The “it’s okay to be gay” at the end wasn’t really well balanced, so for me I wouldn’t EVER suggest this for a young adult. I’d honestly cater this to those that are gay that came from religious homes and are FULLY comfortable about who they are…. I feel like it takes a certain level of understanding and therapy based knowledge to actually make this one palatable.

First half of the book I could only think about 13rw while hearing about Hannah and Baker.
