Tell the sun and stars hello for me.

Definitely the best book in this series. Just incredible.

The plot was non-stop. I didn't feel bored during any point of this book like I had with the "The Mark of Athena". The story is a personal favorite of mine. The way Annabeth and Percy's time in Tartarus connected with what was happening in the over world was fantastic. All the characters blended well together so the story didn't feel choppy or mismatched, like for example, the previous book.

Though the book was incredibly plot heavy, the character development was by far the best in "The House of Hades". I felt way more bonded to every character by the end of this. Nico's story was an important one that I'm glad was included. Annabeth and Percy's relationship grew beautifully in Tartarus even while each of them overcame an internal struggle. Frank grew on me a bit, and Hazel's new power was fresh and nice to read about (even if I don't fully understand it). Leo's time with Calypso was also great. Everything these characters went through and overcame was astonishing. Bob and Percy's relationship was a favorite of mine, and the end of the book definitely did not make me tear up.

One thing about this book that honestly bothered me more than it should was Riordan mentioned billiard balls way too many times. To the point where I noticed it multiple times. It bothered me so much. What is his obsession with pool balls.

Anyway, that's just a stupid thing I noticed. Of course, this book was so fucking good. Blew away all my previous expectations from reading it for the first time. Can't wait to finish reading it.

After dreading Tartarus for so long, our ship has been in danger for a year, what's to keep booknerds from over running the bookstores?

Percy and Annabeth stuck in the pits of the Underworld, Tartarus to be specific, made everyone squirmish. I have did a blog article on HoH before it came out on October 8th earlier this year.

The summary must be the one with the most spoilers in it ever. I get it, Percy Jackson and the Olympians are full of prophecies, but this is just too much.

Well as guessed, the Doors of Death are closed. That part right there- Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?- just practically screams out READ TO FIND OUT MORE! This is all I am going to say; I'm not "hating on" the series or anything of the sort.

While reading this book, there are certainly many reactions. I think that HoH would be my favorite book in the series because this books packs in even more character development than you would have thought.

Spoiler
Frank changes physically and mentally. He just became praetor, what?!?! I get it, he's the son of Mars and he can call all of the dead soldiers to attention, but I think I liked it. Hazel does too after she realizes Frank is still the same one that she knew.

Leo finally isn't just the seventh wheel. He's thinking more about himself and Calypso which I really loved this plot twist. (For a while after I finished the Ogygia arc, I was a major Caleo shipper. I even went as far as to name my "volcanic island" topography map in Science class, "Calypso Ogygia Island". I'm a freak- I know it.)

Percy and Annabeth go through hell. Sorry, pun not intended. :P They had so many things and Greek monsters in their way, it wasn't a surprise when Tartarus himself came up to one of our OTPs just trying to stop them from leaving. Percy grows a lot mentally. Annabeth was relying on him a bit more which is kind of cute. RIPTIDE CAN WRITE IN INK!!! CELESTIAL BRONZE INK!!! YAY! :D

Nico turning into a corn plant was so unexpected, who would've seen it coming.

You know what I still remeber Nico saying? He was "young and impressionable". Little Nico was so cute and those little homophobes out there can just keep their mouths shut. Nico being gay really doesn't affect who he is and how important he is. If he wasn't in the lotus hotel for so many years and admitted it out loud to anyone, public humiliation would have ruined everything that mattered to him. I mean, Nico was one of my favorite characters and still is.

Piper is very charming. She thinks that she's completely useless, and she isn't when they need her. Stop feeling bad about everything (even though it should be JEYNA for life!) and just be strong.

Jason is a monotone brick. Hazel agrees with me. I believe that I have said enough there.
