This particular book wasn't my favorite. I can definitely see the appeal from people who aren't religious or care about the topics, but it was a little hard for me. I just had to trick myself into thinking what was happening wasn't happening. Putting the religious aspects aside, it was a good book.

 5 ⭐️ 3.5 🌶️🥵

“A crush on a fucking priest. Leave it to me to finally have sexual attraction to a man who’s so off-limits, he’s a one-way ticket to hell.”

Cade: Priest/stalker/serial killer
Amaya: Exotic dancer/town outcast

I’ve been working my way through the Never After series and this one is definitely a little darker than the rest so far, but boy do I love it!! I absolutely fell in love with this book and the relationship between Cade and Amaya; they just exude tension, chemistry and lust and it just made me want to keep reading page after page!! Not to mention the forbidden aspects of their relationship, just made it so much better I just couldn’t put it down. 🤭

EMILY. Omfg.

I think this is one of her best in the series yet. She put some triggering content in here and I think it made it better.
Father Cade could slap me upside the head and I would say, “Thank you, Father.” ✨
There’s something about a man that internally battles his love for a woman and his love for God while choosing the woman every time, regardless of his regrets. This story was hot, angsty, dramatic, and actually very sad and heartbreaking. I’m so proud of you, Emily! x

I absolutely LOVED this one! I think it may have even become my fave in the series, which is a shock because I was obsessed with Wretched.

I was obsessed with Father Cade from the very start, his obsessive stalking ways
