*Audiobook Review*

Kelsey Navarro is quickly becoming one of my favourite narrators; her performance as Shayne in Heathens had me completely sucked in and was on edge for most of the audio.  Shayne goes through a lot in Heathens and after the rollercoaster of book one that is saying something.  There is drama, angst, so much tension and (not nearly enough) groveling.  There are also some really harrowing parts in this which took me by surprise but the dark humour is still there as it was in book one with Dill and Doe replacing Tarzan as my highlight.

I also really enjoyed more of the male POV's especially after some of the revelations about the men's pasts; Blake Lockheart only had one chapter in book one and I'm hoping we see more of him book three as after the absolutely bonkers finale I need to know Roman's thoughts from his own mouth!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

The cliff hanger from book 1 had me in knots. Then when chapter 7 hit it truly had me in a choke hold! It’s like a medium burn and I just can’t wait for them all to give in. Gotta love a good psychopath.

Shouldn’t be surprised… HOLY MOLY!!

Omg. Omg. Omg.

It’s FINALLY here! And it’s everything I could’ve imagined and more!!

Shayne and the boys are back….. and a little bit more damaged. After being left in that first cliffhanger, we come back face to face with the reality that these brothers don’t play when it comes to one another! Roman and Levi are hellbent on getting revenge for Marcus and poor Shayne is at their mercy. She doesn’t go without a fight first though! She’s on tough cookie!

Marcus finally comes to and backs what Shayne was saying. Abs now Roman and Levi will spend forever making up for the torture they put her through!

And, that drum scene…. Wooooo

Heathens
Depraved Sinners, Book 2
By: Sheridan Anne
Narrated by: Kelsey Navarro, Blake Lockheart

Sheridan Anne continues her Depraved Sinners series with another twisted installment. he picks up right where we left off(no, these do not stand alone, so listen to Psychos first!) where Levi and Roman are blaming Shayne for something she didn't do. Hooded figures are unidentified. Wolves are changing loyalties. Marcus is staking a claim and Giovanni continues his twisted reign. The questions are endless as the story progresses and I love that about Anne's writing. She answers one and then gives us three more. This story has twists and turns and complete surprises. I found myself loving Shayne for her undeniable strength and frustrated with her as her forgiveness comes much too easy for me. And the boys, they had me cringing in one ear and loving them in another. It's that kind of story. The one that makes you think, makes you hate, love and need more. Savages is next, and there are so many issues I need answers to. Bring it on!

Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart continue their narration of this dark, twisted story. Navarro is so good at the strong, dark women. She brings out the evilness in Shayne without us feeling like it is part of the personality, and has me loving her! Lockheart has all the men, each with their own voice and matching their personality. And that is a feat as each one is so different. He adds that wickedness into them giving me the love-hate relationship I enjoy as I listen It keeps me interested and wondering. It's a fantastic team and has me waiting for the next one.

I honestly dont even know where to begin. Heathens is JAM PACKED. Theres so much happening, so much to be said and does not disappoint on the steamy scenes and plot. I was absolutely floored with how this book ended and dont know how im going to hold on until book 3!
