Uh HELLO? Looking at the number of the reviews on this series, it is seriously underrated & under read. For Elander alone, it is worth the read. Let’s hope the last two hold the same weight.

This book was far more politically heavy than the two prior, which is great. SM writes a wonderful fantasy world, there's so much action, tension and angst throughout each book. I'm still enjoying the two MC's and absolutely loved getting to know some of Casia's friend's better in this book. I felt like pacing wise, and with this book involving more politics, it was a bit slower than I anticipated. I feel like some of the world building is beginning to get lost with me so I really hope she mentions past events & their importance to the plot as they go on especially jumping into book 4!
This was so much filler; I was bored to tears. At this point, it is unlikely I will finish the series.

Wow. The twists and turns in this book are mind blowing. It seemed to start off slow but build in intensity and suspense. The battle scenes are gorier, the spicy scenes are spicier, and the heartbreak is so much more painful. But S.M. Gaither knows what she’s doing. This intricate world of gods and magic that has several levels and intertwines with the mortal realm is just fascinating.
