Changed from ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 to ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. It’s a fun story and I like the characters, but the stakes are starting to feel so low. I’m not saying I want Casia to lose another person, but the dying and then “whoops not actually!” is starting to get a little repetitive and takes me kind of out of it. Elander’s death and then subsequent unexplained resurrection was kind of anticlimactic. I would rather him have just not died? If he’s going to live anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ll definitely finish the series, but I need something to break up the monotony that is beginning to come through in this story.
