This book was a lot like the second one. Don’t get me wrong, the reason I keep reading is because this series does have a very good plot that I am enjoying. I just did not feel after the first book that we were getting the depth of the characters we got in the first book and the FMC feels lost the further we go into the series. This again, makes her relatable, but it makes her feel weak compared to how she was introduced.

This book was so good! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I do not know why people don’t talk about it more! I love trying to guess where a story is going and this one had me on my toes the whole time, I was surprised often how wrong I was! I love Cas and Elander, I really liked how they are written together, sometimes it feels like book couples get too wrapped up in each other and these guys are a great balance. This book is a good amount of romance and adventure, it’s well balanced and neither the romance or the story gets lost in the other. I can not say enough good things about this, I cried the last five chapters and I love when books make me cry!

It got boring. Started off strong. Then towards the middle I stopped. Took 9 months to pick up reading it again. And the whole I just to be finished with it.

This was a great addition to the series. Some of this i had guessed would happen, but some was a surprise. If I had to rate it using a scale from 1-0 it would be a 7.5. Can’t wait to read the last book although I have a feeling what will happen.
