Solid fantasy novel that really keeps me hooked. I cannot stand the narrators voice for this audiobook though…
I loved just about everything about this book, but the wrap up felt a bit hasty, especially after we spent over 500 pages working to get there. What an arc for Cas though.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. I liked Cas better in this book and I was happy how it ended. I did start getting bored around chapter 26 wishing the story would progress a bit faster.
Now I’m getting invested!! I love how I can never tell where the story is gonna go!!
S.M. took this story she’s been building and just shook everything to hell. And damn it I love it. This book was non stop chaos as the characters race to make alliances, protect each other, and figure out just who to trust. The twist and turns were extremely enjoyable and kept you on the edge of your seat. I cannot wait to see where she takes this story next!
Third book is fitting bc boy are we in the thick of it!!!!!
Ok I need to know what happens next! Mystery keeps on building. Gah, Eleander and Cas! Do I wait for the audio or dive into the ebook?! I don't know!
This book continues its hold on me. There’s some spice, it doesn’t over take the story. The characters, found family, and the world building consistently draw me in.
