Dang! I just finished this book and the ending just leaves me repeating myself: when do I get the next book?!?!
These Authors are new to me. First, when I started reading, I thought I landed in some fantasy book, but no not really. It’s written so interesting and secrets are revealed, more are being kept, which totally makes you want to read more and more!!
I love the writing, the suspense, the sassy ness, the insults thrown. Really good. Can’t wait for the next book!!!

Another great read that I am 1000% invested in by Tate James & Jaymin Eve. So much mystery and sexual tension… and is it just me, or is everyone keen to see something happen between Matisse and Violet? I got excited for a twin sandwhich at one point!

This book feels very generic and the plot, characters and setting lack any level of depth. There were a lot of things that fell incredibly flat for me, including:
- the main character has no personality and her backstory is not well-developed
- the royal heirs at the school are inexplicably obsessed with the main character straight away
- the world is a dystopian future of our world, but is not described or explained much
- it's set in a school and yet we barely get a glimpse of school life or the classes
- the school is meant to be a university, but feels very very high school
- it lacked any tension or mystery since the whole plot and all of the 'reveals' were incredibly predictable
But if what you're looking for is a relationship-focused plot using the guise of vaguely-dystopian to deliver your enemies-to-lovers, love-triangle romance, then this might just work for you.

The book was ok, about halfway through it was great... but it took a while to get into it.
Once i kind of got what was going on, it was really interesting, Im not sure what Rafe is all about and that ending... i did not see that happening!
