Arbon Academg is the college for the uber rich and elite. The lottery for the academy picked Violet to attend the prestigious academy. Secrets are kept, some are revealed, and others are beginning to be found out. Violet is stuck in the middle between her boyfriend Alex, a crown prince, and her friends of other crown prince’s and royal family. Alex just betrayed her, so how will she handle it? 

Interesting concept. I really enjoyed it so far, and will be reading book 2 soon!

This one was on my recommendation list for awhile and I realized why I was holding off... such a long time between book 1 and 2... But despite that, this was an enjoyable read with an darker college/academia plot led by a strong heroine. Although it felt a tad predicable at times there was still lots of heated and even humorous moments that had me unsure of what to expect next. Definitely broke my reading rut.. but then put me right back into it... that cliffy. *****5 stars (but just barely).

It took until 50%ish to really get going (all that pesky world-building and character intro stuff) but once it did I was intrigued enough to pick up book two.

Holy crap!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but to be honest I was halfway through and I was already wanting more and I am super sad I have to wait for the next book. While it didn’t end on a hard cliffhanger it did end in one. The world, the characters the premise were all so new and different. Such an enjoyable pages turning read. I could not get enough.

I love me a Tate and Jaymin book, and this one was no different. I was immediately sucked into this series, and needed more as soon as possible. I flew through this one on audio, and had to start the second one as soon as I finished this one. 

This academy is all sorts of wild with some rich snobs. Rafe had me entire attention from the get go because godd@mn is that man hot as h3l1 with his cocky and broody attitude add in the tattoos and I was a goner. Violet is strong and bad@$s and I loved how she put everyone in their place. 

This story is intriguing and consuming, and I can't wait to find out what happens next. 

PS screw Alex.
