Ms. Marvel's powers are pulled from time.

Kind of awesome.

Also, super villains are nothing compared to babysitting an infant. Whole different skill set required to keep her nephew alive and happy.

Such a good storytelling when Wilson was able to move a plot involving an RPG simulation or a daydream of mythic ambition! Sometimes a story involves a mundane event then a disaster but no villain just a city issue. However, the conversations they make and the character development plus a beautiful illustration and funny background scenes really make this series a worth it read.

I had been a little meh about the last few volumes, but this one really renewed my love for this whole series. It really shows the stress of being a teenager, sometimes there are scarier things then fighting villains, like keeping secrets from your friends or trying to come to terms with your crush. Kamala Khan fights off the bad guys while navigating friendship, family, the future, and compassion. Cute while still being totally kick ass!

I'm really bummed to see this chapter of Ms. Marvel end, but I loved this volume and it was a good end for Wilson's time writing.

The main art continues to amaze, and the insertion of alternative art a strategic points works well. I continue to sympathize heavily with Kamala and friends. The actual stories in this collection were not the most compelling, but they do continue to round out the characters, which I enjoy.

I finally finished the Ms. Marvel series by Wilson! And I have a lot of feels for this series. This volume felt like a winding down of the Wilson era, as though Wilson's Ms. Marvel is ready to end and to be passed on to the new writer, Saladin Ahmed. I felt warm reading this conclusion because Ms. Marvel learned that she does not have to do everything herself, and her friends are truly there for her. The volume was slow-paced, but I felt like it needed to be this way.

I loved this volume and I’m sad to find out that G Willow Wilson will no longer be writing Ms Marvel. I’m not sure if I’ll continue reading the comics with a new writer when I’ve gotten so used to her writing style, but we’ll see where the story goes.
