My gawd if he wasn’t the sweetest bad boy wanna be ever. Kyland is alone in this rundown small town. He has big plans for himself to get a full ride scholarship and move away and start this big amazing life until he meets Tenleigh. She has the same idea, earn the scholarship and big a big life. Once they start spending time together they each try to give it up so the other can have it. Kyland wins and in the mean time shatters Tenleigh. But he feels good because he knows that she is going to go and do incredible things with her life. He puts himself through hell every.single.day to make sure she has the life he knew she deserved.
I fell so hard for Kyland. He was the dark and brutey boy that had a heart of gold if he let you know and I just melted for him. Tenleigh was so relatable for me as the people pleaser and caretaker. She wants to make everyone happy and tends to put herself on the back burner. They both try to fight their feelings but the amount of love they have for each is undeniable. I really enjoyed the banter between these two as well, it started innocent became spicy!
