Es una historia con drama, pero me ha decepcionado un poquito el crecimiento de los personajes, esperaba más de ellos, pero son muy jóvenes en la mayor parte de la historia.

Era un ir y venir de emociones, sobre todo por parte de Kyland y eso se me hizo extraño, por lo regular son las chicas las indecisas.

Y sin querer hablar diciendo spoilers, creo que Kyland hizo cambios pero basado en el bienestar de Tanleigh y volviéndose dependiente de ella, no sé algo medio creepy

It’s funny when I picked this up I was looking for a fluffy palette cleanser. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

It was so so good. IMMEDIATELY from the first chapter I felt heart tugs which hasn’t happened for me in so long!!! I always think Mia Sheridan’s book concepts are so unique!! Tenleigh and Kyland both want to get out of their poverty stricken town so badly even though they begin to fall in love with each other. Kyland tells her over and over again that he’s leaving no matter what and he’s trying not to hurt her but after the life he’s had there he knows he has to go. They were such a beautiful and organic couple when they were younger. I just felt their connection immensely and I loved how pure their love was for one another.

We don’t get to choose how we grow up and sometimes I feel we all forget that. It was heartbreaking at times to read and I wanted nothing more then to give them everything of mine because I take it for granted! Kyland in the end realizing that there is no way he can let Tenleigh stay here after he knows he’s fallen in love with her was so generous. The way he went about it made me want to cry and rip my hair out but everything he ever did in the end was for her and I can’t even imagine being loved that strongly. This was so special for me.
