Really enjoyed this. Written by a psychiatrist who also went to culinary school and has a degree in nutrition. A lot of good, evidence-based tips for how food affects nearly every psychiatric disorder from insomnia and fatigue, to schizophrenia.

Food is medicine! I was drawn to this book because I’m a big believer in the premise. I was a little disappointed because it was so heavy on research references and it boiled down to basically avoiding the “Western Diet” and embracing the “Mediterranean Diet,” but still, in my quest to eat for a healthy brain and healthy aging, I think it’s a good addition to my library. And she includes healthy recipes, which I’m looking forward to trying.
