Gizmo and Gene certainly give Caleb and Piper a run for their money as the best couple in this story. :D
Piper is a no-nonsense business owner, who after being almost swindled by her landlord's slimy estate manager writes to her landlord, Gene. Gene is getting on in years, and so he asks his grandson, Caleb, to go with him to check out his various properties in Rustic Ridge.
I loved how Piper and Caleb's meet cute happened, and I adored how Gene just jumped right in to support Piper's story and push Caleb to play along.
The various side-characters added a lot of fun and a good dynamic to the story and I enjoyed all the interactions.
As with any Novella, it can be difficult to truly flesh out a story, but Bella Greene does a phenomenal job with Whisked Away By My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend.

This was another great book by Bella Greene. The author does a wonderful job describing the familial conflicts resulting from differing beliefs of the role a woman should play in a relationship. In addition, it is clear by the telling of the story that although there are fundamental differences in the beliefs held by family members, family trumps all of that. Also, the chemistry between the main characters is excellently written. From the beginning, Caleb and his grandfather, Gene, capture your hearts and fill a place in Piper's life and family.

This story was so fun and entertaining. There was quite a bit of humor mixed with sweet clean romance. Perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.

In true Bella Greene fashion, she delivers another whimsy, clean romance full of swoon worthy moments and drama free romance. Caleb and Piper are characters that are well shaped and relatable. I adored Grandpa Gene and the wisdom he gives Caleb for life is genuine and full of love.

It also holds words of wisdom about making sure to live life and not just go through the motions.

This sweet romance was full of lovable characters. It was immediately evident that smart and handsome Caleb had a good heart from his interactions with his beloved and cherished Grandpa. It was obvious that brilliant and beautiful Piper was kind and generous from her interactions with her customers and family. Gene (Caleb's grandpa) was mischievous, clever, funny, and giving. And Gizmo was ... well, I won't spoil it for you other than to say that he takes being kidnapped very well.
This story contained plenty of witty banter, sweet gestures, flying sprinkles, and laugh-out-loud moments.
Reading this book will make you want to slow-down, open your heart to love, put your family relationships first, and maybe even try "angry-baking".
