Couldn’t finish. It was hard to focus on all of the mini statements.
I think you should either write a biography, a self help, or a scientific study. I don't think doing all 3 works well. While Sarah clarifies that it is her opinion it is really hard to separate it from facts, specifically because she chose to write this in non chronological order. I didn't appreciate how unrealistic applying some methods are, especially if you do have a family, obligations, and are responsible for other people in your life. The reason that I read all the way through was because I would find a kernel of helpfulness and relatablitiy that grounded.
Compelling words that push you to pause, to completely shift your perspective on anxiety. Absolutely thought provoking.
I really hated the writing style and organization of this book, and that none of the author's claims were cited (though they are apparently on her website). And yet, there were some nuggets of wisdom and promising practices for living with anxiety.

From someone who has anxiety, I was hoping to find common ground in this book. However the author goes on to tell her own story about living with anxiety and I couldn’t relate to any of it. I could nod at a couple testimonials sent to her from others with anxiety, but we all have our own journey, this wasn’t mine. A few helpful takeaways that I might try, but otherwise not the read I was expecting.

This was a really refreshing approach to grappling with anxiety. Along with tips and tricks to tame the beast, the author spoke at length about contextualizing and understanding anxiety--not necessarily with the intent of moving past it, but accepting and living with it.
This book had some really relatable content. I loved how she shared her personal experience of anxiety, but the book was written in such a meandering fashion I found it hard to follow. I’ll definitely dip back into it for advice and reassurance though.
