What a fun little romp! I loved the ridiculous cast of characters. Miss Lavish made me laugh. I was invested in the romance, even though the structure was quite strange. Forster’s books have made me so happy these past couple months and I can’t wait to read more from him :)

One connected the landing window with depression. No definite problem menaced her, but she sighed to herself, “Oh, dear, what shall I do, what shall I do?”

Very happy I found this randomly in a charity shop in Inverness while the girl who recommended it was playing Hozier music. Very witty and lovely, with some great characters.

Not as good as I had hoped, but some of the language is wonderful.

A freakin classic - I loved it!

An all time favorite.

2.5⭐️ Just meh. Idk who was more of an ass, Charlotte or Cecil.

I'm about to say it: the movie was better
