Ugly Love was more like Beautiful Love.
The ugliness of the romance and past troubles were told beautifully as only [a:Colleen Hoover|5430144|Colleen Hoover|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1464032240p2/5430144.jpg] could tell this story.
The chapters are told in alternating narratives. I loved how neither view took away from the other. It flowed naturally and realistically.
“God gives us the ugliness so we don’t take the beautiful things in life for granted.”
Miles, dear Miles, I love how flawed and damaged he is. Dark and broken, but full of possessiveness and untapped love to be restored.
"It's the beautiful moments like these that make up for the ugly love."
After reading [b:Verity|41957126|Verity|Colleen Hoover|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1537519686s/41957126.jpg|64581304], I needed to read another CoHo book and I was not disappointed! Verity was my first CoHo book and I knew I had to read her "normal" work - romance. I can see why she set the precedent in the romance genre after reading Ugly Love and it will not be the last book of hers that I read.

Miles and Tate’s chemistry was really intriguing and had me wanting more as the book went on. It hurt in all the right ways and gave just enough heartbreak to make the ending hit even harder.
Save you money and time, just don't go for it, this book is not worth hype.
I read this twice within a few days! Need I say more? This was fantastic.

I don't even want to waste any more time reviewing this absolute piece of shit, but just so you know, poor plot, poor character development, poorly written, POOR EVERYTHING. I can't tell you how many chapters i skipped just because I was so disappointed in this book. I'm incredibly angry at myself for wasting my time. I'm definitely never going to read anything by this author no matter how famous they are because apparently fame doesn't mean quality literature

The obsessive and overly longing love got real annoying real quickly. Really only continued reading to find out how the two main characters were gonna end up together and what the big tragedy that wrecked one of the characters was.
