3.8 AVERAGE

Ik zou hem 3 sterren geven als die ene zin er niet in stond

I feel like this is the book everyone recommends for Colleen Hoover, but I only found it meh.

It was pretty predictable, and maybe I'm just twisted, but it lacked the "woah" factor.

It's definitely a take it or leave it for me.

The only thing that i appreciated and pushed myself to finished it, its because its beautifully written, but the plot story are not wow for me !! Its kinda cliche and insta love actually

This just wasn’t it for me.
Reading about two characters f***ing around like 97% of the book with no real story left me highly frustrated and unsatisfied (no pun intended). I just couldn’t get pass the tragedy and drama, while if you do, this could be an emotional, moving read. But to me, it felt a bit inappropriate.

Must say I’m frustrated about the set up of the book, not about the writing.

giving this 1 star because Miles Archer was kinda hot, not really

Ugly Love was an emotional gut-punch of a story from beginning to end. The content of the book with its heavy themes and triggers are handled so well by Hoover - the build up to the reveal of the reason Miles is the way he is was interesting. To have Tate telling the story of the present while Miles is rooted in the past shows the mentality of these two characters.

??? bitch what the fuck

Definitely not plane reading material.
