Such a good book. It is my second CoHo book and I have to say that the reviews are all true. She really is a great author and writes great gripping stories. I can't wait to read the rest of her books.
i don’t hate this book like other people but i definitely don’t like it as much as i did then so 3 stars seems about right.

i’m not even sure how many times i’ve read this book at this point but i know it won’t be the last. tate and miles are my comfort couple, ugly love is my comfort story. this book makes me believe that anyone can fall in love and that everyone is worthy of love.
“Whoever coined the phrase, I love you to death obviously never experienced the kind of love Tate and I share.
If that were the case, the phrase would be I love you to life.
Because that's exactly what Tate did.
She loved me back to life.”
BYEEEE LOVE THEM ALWAYS AND FOREVER BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY ARE LOVE XOXOXOXO

* Life changing in that I now have a clear path to never be a Tate again.
* read this after watching Nicole rafiee’s YouTube video in which they read sections of this book for like 2 hours and decided I had to hate read it myself
* I have beef with this title. Ugly Love???? Ugly?? Ugly seems like… a piece from the wrong puzzle (LOL).
* have to give it at least a two because I did stay up reading it, I did cry a bit, I am a sucker for a fixed
Man etc. but no more!
* bland.
It counts towards the reading challenge ok?

soft porn & they both need to see therapists. it's always the other supporting characters who slap the main guy back to consciousness to have a happy ending. I'm not sure if this actually happens irl? I've been screaming "leave him!" since the first chapter probably. as I still have to convince myself every day that I made the right decision to leave, i had no problem wanting her to leave him.
its sad what happened to Miles and Rachel, sad, really sad.
I love the author way of writing! first time I've read a book of her. Tate on the other hand I think she had to have more respect for herself. Miles made his way through all the things he struggle with and at the end he was capable to love again and Tate was happy and that's what matters at end for Tate and Miles. It has sad, happy, heartbreaking parts, it was ok I think.
I liked the book and I liked the way it was written.

The writing style in which Miles’ chapters are written were absolutely painstaking to get through. It was as if this love story were written by a 10 year old.
My new favorite flavor is Rachel
My new favorite thing is Rachel
I want Rachel for my birthday. I want Rachel for Christmas. I want Rachel for graduation.
Rachel, Rachel, Rachel
Rachel is happy
I make Rachel happy
I make Rachel’s life better
Her life is better with me in it
This story was more about Miles & Rachel than it was Miles and Tate.
This was my first Colleen Hoover romance & it doesn’t hold a candle to Verity. I’m really hoping it’s just this book that’s a dud and not all of her romance novels.

I feel like I have an addiction to Colleen Hoover books. I didn't really know anything going into this book but that's probably the best when it comes to her books. They always have a bloody ma-hoo-sive twist that I'm never expecting and oh my goodness, I was not expecting this twist. It broke my heart into two and the emotions that I felt for those two characters was a lot.
The story begins with Tate moving in with her older brother, a pilot. As soon as she gets to the door of her apartment, a very drunken Miles is lying outside the door. This is the first we've heard of him and obviously, we don't know whether to trust him. Throughout the book, Miles is a very guarded character and very good at hiding his emotions.
The way that Colleen did this was incredible. She made his character into a bit of an arse, giving rules and making it clear he will never change his views on love. However, I loved him.
I loved how she incorporated his past in chapters which were set six years earlier and it gave us such a beautiful insight of what happened to him to make him the way that he is today. He was such a beautiful character and yet so damaged that it broke my heart just reading about him.
It's got to be said, I did love the ending. I always get disappointed with the endings of her books, but I think that the reason for this is because that's what it is...the end. I wish her books could go on forever and even if the stories were just about how they lived their lives, I would still be happy to read these books.
Yet again, you've done it.
