I mean I read it in a day, but also be prepared for a wild whiplash between the moods of scenes. Saucy to trauma & back real fast.

Good amount of spice, and a light, cute and touching story.

This was a little darker than I was anticipating it being, but that honestly was on me going in completely blind. It was not the most well-written book I have ever read, but I had a great time and read it in a day.

This book has some likable characters, and it’s great to see how they grow throughout the story. It’s definitely a spicy read with some very interesting scenes (lol). It also touches on heavy themes like abuse, neglectful parents, and self-esteem, though it doesn’t dive too deeply into them. How the characters handle these issues is... let’s just say, interesting. If you’re in the mood for something a little unconventional, this one’s worth giving a go.
There's also recipes at the end of the book which was a nice surprise.
