Whell Ridley is dark alright not the end I expected. Why end it on a cliff hanger. Ugh that was good to the end. Now I see why people stop at the other series.

A nice take on Ridley, however, not my favorite of the authors' works.

This was definitely much better than the predecessor, but the ending ruined everything.

Ensimmäinen osa oli parempi, tässä juoni tuntui aika köyhältä ja olisin toivonut toisenlaista loppua.

Well it's a relief I liked the sequel a lot more than the 1st book. The plot became a lot more interesting with Silas experimenting on Casters and fusing powers together. Ridley is back to being the trademark bad girl which I liked since that's her personality after all. BUT I STILL HATE NOX. Any little respect I had for him is out the window. He claims to love Ridley yet if he did, he wouldn't just bow down to her and let her do what she wants with him. She doesn't even love him and he decides to ignore it. She's just power hungry for him. That being said, I'm so mad at the cliffhanger! BRING RIDLEY BACK LINK. YOU CAN DO IT.

oh my god. This was heart breaking and breathtaking, and even better than I expected. The scenes were so vivid, the writing was great, and it was a surprisingly quick read. Link has been my favorite character since Beautiful Creatures, and he is absolutely perfect in this book. THAT ENDING THOUGH. Just leave me to cry on the floor.

THESE BOOKS ARE SO MUCH FUN. I love Ridley so much, she's a great character. I just think it would've been better had there not been a love triangle aspect.

I was excited to read this and I liked it but it was also kinda boring and I didn't care.

I refuse to accept that this is how it ends.

This book frustrated me beyond belief. I was disappointed with Dangerous Creatures, but Dangerous Deception just drove me off the rails. The characters' behaviors and dialogue were incredibly cringeworthy and made me roll my eyes multiple times. I said this in my last review, but I still think the authors are simply not strong writers when it comes to writing the voices of "bad" characters. I never had an issue with their writing in the Beautiful Creatures books, when it was from the perspective of Ethan or Lena, but for some reason the POV of these supplemental novels are just so cringeworthy to read. The portrayal of the "badass" characters could not have been more stereotypical and annoying. The love triangle did not help. Not to mention the ending, that I'm sure NO reader was rooting for. I was so confused in the last 50 pages that I'm still not quite sure how the ending even came to happen; it was so rushed, muddled, and random. I'm sorry, but I'm just not a fan. Beautiful Creatures should have remained a series in itself without these companion novels.
