I was really flipping between 3.5 and 3.75 stars here. I knew
Cooper was the beaux bridge killer
from the first chapter or so, not because it was obvious but because it is such a commonly used trope. I accidentally spoiled the
Aaron situation for myself but I'm pretty sure I could've guessed it anyway.
The only thing I didn't guess was that
Daniel had figured out the cooper situation, I just assumed he was cheating.

Overall this was a very standard mystery/thriller. I would've liked a longer ending. However, the authors prose enhances the book and Karissa Vacker is one of my favorite narrators (although she did not do Louisiana accents well)

It was just okay! Wanted to be scared, was not scared :( However, I only guessed one of the two major twists so kudos. I think this would make an excellent limited series show.

This was a 3 star read for me.

I do not read many thrillers and I want to start doing so, but I am always worried I will be to scared. This was great though, twisty and mysterious but I was still able to sleep!

I thought I saw the twist coming, I thought I was so smart, but I was so wrong! So I did not see the twist coming and I loved reading how everything all came together. I thought it was very intriguing and well written.

The relationships in the story were well thought out and interesting, I thought they really added to the mystery of the story. I enjoyed how the storyline would go back and forth from Chloe's childhood to the present. I loved how the clues were laid out for us to follow and try to figure out, I think the author did a great job of leading us down one path only to surprise us in the end. That was a fun ride and I will be checking out more from this author!

I recommend this to anyone looking for a decent thriller, it was not to gruesome or scary!

Good book but one of the twists was pretty easy to guess really early on. But a good read!

It kept me reading, incredibly similar to the other book I read with a plot line of dad is the murder, down to the twists. Poor girl can’t trust a single man who has been in her life. I would’ve enjoyed a more conclusive ending with her relationship w her dad and other characters like Shanon. And how did Coop make the reporter do things? that was kinda silly  if Coop likes murder so much wouldn’t be want to be the one doing the killings. Also how did the final girl get kidnapped?

I liked this one! Some of the plot twists were predictable, but there were plenty that weren’t. I liked the first person pov writing a lot. It was a great story that was told well.
