***3.5 Stars Rounded Up***
Continuing the story from the previous books in the series, it's Ridge's turn to right a wrong and get out from under Charlie's thumb. The stakes feel a little less high as Ridge is informed his guy is going down no matter what do to his heinous crimes. The romance aspect of this story was enjoyable, but the mystery/suspense aspect felt lacking compared to the previous books. If you're a fan of the author or the series I'd give it a read.

I generally enjoy this series.
I love the whole Ocean's Eleven vibe and the group of guys really grow on you and you get attached.
Ridge is so prickly and Davis is a sweetheart.

Great sequel in the series that has the same strengths and flaws as the previous books.
Meaning it's hilarious and a ton of fun, easy and fast to read, overall rather light-hearted despite some of the heavier topics handled, but there are some consistency issues and simply wrong details that were overlooked seemingly due to being convenient.

Content warnings include: character gets sheld at gunpoint, character gets shot, violence and injury, vomiting, mentions of parental neglect, murder, homophobia, pedophilia, blackmail.

Pros & Cons of Desire somehow felt less... everything than its prequels. There wasn't as much pressure on this mission, there was no drama around the main relationship which was already established, there generally just wasn't as much pressure as the end of people suffering didn't depend on the success of the mission.
Topic wise it wasn't as heavy either, despite Ridge's childhood not being easy. Priviledge through inheritance and being rich was brought up but not really discussed in depth.
The mission was fun to read, but it I wish it was pulled through entirely - the book ended before the consequences were shown, due to external cirumstances. I hope things will continue on from there in the next book!

I’m liking this series, a gay Ocean’s 11-esque series.

This one is lead by Ridge, the master thief. Who also has been having an affair with the agent from the last job he bumped into. A 100 year old scandal dealing with wrongful death and the wrong inheritance is the job this time. And it was pretty interesting. I enjoyed the two men and their growth from friends with bennies to lovers.

This series is not the usual romance series; in fact, there is quite little romance in this book, and much more action. The storyline of Ridge and Davis started in the previous book and will most probably continue in the next installment of the series. So this story actually ends with a HFN and this disappointed me a bit.

But it is a very entertaining story, with a lot of action and funny dialogues. My recommendation is that you have read the previous book in order to get more information on how the two MCs met and to have some insight on Ridge past and relationship with his twin.

So, this wasn't perfect. It needed about 20 more pages in the beginning setting up between Ridge and Davis. I was worried about catching up on them since they started in the last book, and really she doesn't do them justice in that regard.

However, I thought just about everything else was lovely! I'm about to read the next one and then I cannot wait for the 5th!!
