I am so mad at LRJ. The first 90% of this book is one of the best in the Inside Out Series... it actually explains Mark and Crystal's relationship and legitimizes their obsession with each other a bit. I still hate how Crystal just 'goes along for the ride' with Mark's emotions, and it's a very 1 way street. That's not really how relationships *should* work.
The ending of this book is a 0 star. LRJ remembers that she has a dead heroine she has to explain, and she literally ties Rebecca's murder together in two lines, with Ava somehow turning herself in to Mark. WTF. Oh, and Ava's just a *pawn*, except for that whole time she tried to murder Sara in a jealous fit, it was really all Ricco. This made ZERO sense.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed...
It seemed to me that there was SO much build up to this story that I was left a little underwhelmed. I love the sorry of how Mark was so different with Crystal then he was portrayed in the previous books. I love how the little novella's alluded to the "new" Mark.
He is a much more like-able guy in this book. He was outrageously ALPHA in the Chris/Sara books and I have to admit I did not care for him too much in those books. I really like how his story built and built through out the previous in the series. It was very refreshing to see a strong heroin that didn't take his crap and met him head on.
For me there was so much build up that when everything came out, I was left with such a short ending. Everything with Ava, Ricco and Jimenez just seemed to fall short. It felt like it took forever to get it all out and all the pieces put together and then just ended. All in all I like the book.

Once both Crystal and Mark let each other inside their own personal hell, can they make it real?
I absolutely love the Inside out series. Chris amd Sara be still my beating heart. I've always had mixed feelings about Mr. Compton. Maybe from the weird vibe Sara felt or by the random moments when he showed his caring side only to seal himself back up lock Fort Knox. Even in my control he always held himself back. If you have these reservations about who the real Mark Compton is you need to read this beautifully written book. It was eye opening. A new side of things. Simply put A MUST READ!!!

I honestly don't know why I still bother with this series - or I didn't know before this book. I have zero interest in completing the series now cos Chris and Sara don't appeal to me at all now that Mark's story finally unfolds. The author still has problems deciding if she's writing a soft porn novel, a crime thriller or chick lit and that's fairly annoying at some points - none of the themes is properly covered.

Lisa Renee Jones has done an incredible job with Mark and Crystal’s romance in I Belong to You. Be prepared for the raw, agonizing pasts they revealed to each other, and for the hope and tenderness that grew out of those confessions.
‘We’re two people who seem to everyone else to have blessed lives, but both of us live in glass houses, captive to the same stone. And that stone is a trauma in our pasts.’
I was truly bowled over with how intense and wonderfully written this novel turned out to be. I kind of jumped in here after only reading the Master Undone novella, so I had a pretty major learning curve to say the least.

The Inside Out series by Lisa Renee Jones has consistently been some of my favorite books, filled with twists and turns, mysteries, romance, intrigue, and danger. It is literally hard for me to put these books down when I'm reading them, because they are just so compelling. Lisa Renee writes great characters, angsty and real, that draw me in to their worlds, and storylines that hook me every single time. I BELONG TO YOU, the final chapter in Mark Compton's and Crystal Smith's story, was no exception.
Over the course of the series, we have come to see the different sides of Mark, but he has always been, without exception, in control. He is a Master, after all, careful to keep his emotions in check, even to the point of losing his beloved Rebecca because of it. In the novellas THE MASTER UNDONE and MY CONTROL, we began to see glimpses of a different Mark Compton, as his relationship with Crystal Smith awakened feelings in him that he kept buried deep down. Crystal also has a past that shaped her and made her a woman determined to forge her own way. She challenges Mark in every way, in the workplace and in the bedroom, refusing to hand over control.
I did not particularly like Mark in previous books. He was aloof, condescending, and very much in charge, and he took great pleasure in letting everyone know that he was the boss. Recently, though, the realization that his actions with Rebecca put her in a position that led to her death, and his feelings of helplessness around his mother's illness have begun to change him. As his relationship with Crystal evolves and they become a real couple, learning each others' secrets and earning each others' trust, Mark emerges as the man that he likely would have been all along, if his past hadn't taken such a painful turn. This is a Mark Compton that I could actually appreciate, as he has finally come to a place of peace.
Lisa Renee has done a nice job of weaving all of the pieces of this series together to get to the point where we understand the cause of each character's pain, and are looking forward now to their continued growth. The final book in the series, ALL OF ME, releases in February 2015, and I am looking forward to seeing how she will wrap everything up for all the characters and answer any remaining questions. I would easily recommend both I BELONG TO YOU and the entire Inside Out series as some of my must-read books.

This was an epic tale of tragic love. Damage to the bone that leaves you with a gaping whole loss, this is what Mark Compton suffered from. Everyone he's loved has gone. We see the emotions behind the mask of the master. I loved this book. I am huge Mark Compton fan and this book did not disappoint. I am very glad the book ended with a HEA!
Lisa Renee you hit this one out of the park. The story was engaging and I loved the surprise elements.
Pick it up and read it!
