This who series very much gives off the feeling of " then this happened... then this" but it's still a fun read and I will be finishing the series. That being said grace is just an overall idiot at multiple points.

Full of adventures and action. I especially loved the description of the dragon celebration.

I FLIPPING LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!!

The ending to this book was very good. However, I gave it 3 stars because for the majority of the book, Grace was going back and forth about whom she should choose: Jackson or Hudson! First off, in book 2, Jackson had already shown that he was a controlling tool, so I felt that Hudson was the smart choice. Throughout this book, my feelings about the brothers never changed. Yet her internal monologue went on and on about breaking the bond and getting back together with Jackson. I almost gave up on this book because of that!

Unfortunately, I think this is where my journey with this series stops for now. Crave was fun and what I needed at the time. Crush was genuinely enjoyable. I'm a sucker for a tournament. Covet was...long. Long and detailed and slow for the first 85% and then somehow too fast for the last 15%? Literally everything happens in the last 15% of the book. We spend the first 65% of the book talking about what we have to do, hearing Grace complain (and boy she complains a lot in this one), rehashing the end of Crush, talking about the impossible task, and then having random outings that serve no purpose other than some minor world building (I did enjoy the dragon holiday and the giant community, not going to lie). 20% is spent easily doing the "impossible" task we spent 65% of the book talking about. Then the last 15% moving the plot along and throwing twists, wrenches, and cliffhangers at us. It was kind of a slog and even though the last chapter has me wanting to continue and find out what that green string is, the next book is 100 pages longer than this one?? I need a break.

Still not sure why I’m so obsessed with this series but I can’t stop and won’t stop. It’s so messy but Hudson makes it worth it
