I would literally die for Hudson Vega and I am NOT OKAY
When I say I ate this book up, I mean I ATE THIS BOOK UP! After the way the second book ended, I tried to have self-control and wait to read the third but oh my let me just say I'm glad I dove right into this book!
First, Grace's character progression was something else in this book. I kind of wasn't her biggest fan in the first book and then I grew to appreciate her in the second book with her learning more about herself. I feel like this book really shows an exponential growth from Grace and I distinctly remember realizing and appreciating this when this book mentions something about the girl that she was but the woman she's become and that just made me see her character totally differently.
Now, let us discuss Jaxton and Hudson. Of course we were all rooting for Grace and Jaxton in the first book and then there was a bit of a divide in the second book. However. Oh my gosh, the way that I was Team Hudson throughout this book is an understatement. Of course I loved Jaxton but when we learn more about Grace's mating bonds and what they mean, I felt like I know I was supposed to still be fighting for Jaxton to be okay but also wishing that Hudson was end game.
The ending of this book, like the others, did not disappoint! I think this book had the biggest plot twist/cliffhanger of all the books in the series so far and I loved that! I'm not usually the type of person that cries when reading books but Xavier in the second book hit me like a truck and there were a few moments (and by "a few" I mean more than I'd like to admit) that really got me. I think partly because we've been through two books prior to this and we've met, loved, and lost characters (not necessarily "lost" meaning just death) that makes this series, honestly, the first one that I'm working my way all the way through all the books so far. I love the relationships that blossom and I can't wait to jump into the next book!

I am obsessed with this series and I can’t wait to read the next book!
I listened to this book on audible and it did not disappoint. Well narrated and easy to follow along. This one was full of action, indecision and choices by all the characters. So much was packed into this book it’s a lot to digest. I can’t wait to read the next one.
Hudson and Grace, once she fully accepted her mating bond and realized the damage she would cause Hudson made it so much better. I can understand wanting to save Jaxson but at the same time to lose the bond nature wanted for her not so much.
The blood letter just made things more difficult for all of them. What a sacrifice in the end. The prison was just a lot. Who could imagine having to relive your worse nightmare over and over again.
Death, parities, love and celebration were all jammed into this novel. So far I actually think it’s been the best one yet.
