It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, knowing it’s the end of the Windsors series. Yes, I know the Kingston’s are going to be just as earth shattering if not more so, but a moment has to be recognized for this very powerful series.
The Devious Husband…well simply said… I LOVE IT.
I knew going in that something was going to be different about this book. Sierra was so strong time and time again, always fighting with the annoying Xavier, who sure kept her at the top of her game but also regularly “stole” her ideas and plans! Xavier, however had been pining for Sierra since he stole her cookie right out of her hand. And if you know how much Sierra adores Grandma’s cookies, you know what kind of betrayal this is.
These two have had to navigate treacherous waters, other people causing jealousy, their continued rivalry and learning to communicate with each other. I feel as if my words are inadequate to explain just how much this book was everything these two characters deserved and more. I cried, I laughed, I cried again and I felt my own heart break time and time again.
Congratulations to Catharina Maura for this incredibly series! I cannot wait to read the next one!

I was liking it until Catharina made the FMC needlessly cruel. I don't even remember what Hannah did in book one but to bring her back in this book just so Sierra can be a b!tch and feel better by making someone else feel worse is ridiculous. It just ruined her entire character for me. Also the MMC is dumb and the mafia business made no sense and was not needed.
