Xavier Kingston and Sierra Windsor have been rivals for years. They have forged a competition in their professional lives, and are constantly pranking each other in their personal lives. But Xavier has always known what he wants....and its Sierra. So Xavier proposes a merger with the Windsor family - ensuring dominance in the industry, but it will also get him Sierra. Like all of the other Windsor's, Sierra knows she must marry who her grandmother tells her to, even if she can't stand him!
What I liked: I have been looking forward to this couple's story forever! Their notorious feud has been featured in the other Windsor books, and I couldn't wait to see how their story turned out. I loved that Xavier is so head over heels for Sierra. The men in these books would do literally anything for their women. Catharina writes these stories so well - and I love the fact that I know that even if they go through something incredibly heartbreaking, it will ultimately end in a HEA.
The spice in this book was top tier, punctuated by their incredible sexual tension. Sierra is a romance book lover, and I love that Xavier read some of the books that she loves. It makes my reader heart happy.
What I didn't like: I wish there had been just a little more tension before Sierra gave into Xavier's softer side...I would have liked to see him have to fight for it just a little more and see more of their notorious fighting.
This was the perfect ending to the story of the Windsors, and I am so excited for what is coming next! Many thanks to Catharina Maura and her team for early access to this fantastic book. I hope you all love it as much as I did.

How are you going to write the LAST book in the Windsor series and have the other Windsors have almost no part in it??? Nor give us an epilogue with ALL the siblings?!?!
Sierra and Xavier have been in the making since book 1 and slowly you could see them come together and I was ready for angst but I didn’t feel it in the book. Also, we were introduced to SO MANY new characters felt like I could barely keep up.
I’ve said this about all of C. Maura’s books: it’s not great literature, but it’s fun and it’s not for everyone.
I just hope with her upcoming series, she learns to develop her plots better. It’s been almost the same storyline with each one.

This series so so quickly became a favorite of mine, it’s one that I find myself thinking about all of the time. The characters, the plots, the drama, the romance, it is quite literally everything I love in a romance book — and this one is no different, this one honestly is my favorite of the entire series
Once I started this book i seriously could not put it down, I didn’t want to stop reading because I just knew it was going to keep getting better and better. I’ve been waiting for Sierra and Xavier’s book since I read the first one, and oh my GOODNESS did @catharinamaura absolutely deliver!!!
This book was PERFECT. From the groveling from Xavier, to the pranks between the two of them, the deep conversations and the character development was so so good

Complicated
- “I’ll never want you…not in a million years” “then I’ll wait a million years and one day” “Mrs Kingston Protocol “ the car, all the business plans he stole from her spelling out Sierra, their own romance story that he wrote for her?????
- No shame, they were perfect. Really no notes like that
- That man LOVES HER DOWN, he fell first and he fell harder, and she never stood a chance to love him the way he loved her
Xavier has been in love with her for years. They’ve had this rivalry that’s really only been from Sienna’s side, and he essentially lets her do whatever she wants in the name of revenge - it’s actually really sweet how he went about it all. He orchestrates their arranged marriage (even though Grandma had it all planned out, anyway), they get married, she hates it for about 2 seconds until she realises that she has feelings for him, too. They’re in a good place in their new relationship when his insecurities cause him to retreat, she does everything she can to bridge the space for a few months before she resigns herself to the idea that maybe he doesn’t want her anymore (not true, but he’s a stupid boy that cannot regulate his feelings). Then her beloved grandmother dies (the only parental figure in her life as both parents died when she was very young). She clams up in every sense of the word, he realises what a massive idiot he’s been when she gives up on trying to keep the magic alive and leaves him. His family love her to bits (she found the family she always wanted) take her side in all of this snd support her in every way.
He finally grovels enough that she stops asking him for a divorce and they get back together.
