Great bedtime story!

My ten year old 7 year old and 4 year old use this as a reference for our love EVERY day! :)
slow-paced

My 4 month old loves this book b/c I do.

I received a copy of Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram from Candlewick Press in exchange for an honest review.

This adorable book and toy set of Guess How Much I Love You features this classic story with a little hare toy. In the story, a young hare and his father compete to show just how much they love one another. It is a cute story that celebrates the love of a parent and child.

Nice illustrations. But the tone of the book doesn't strike me as particularly nice. I've known people who always have to win, and they're generally not pleasant to be around. The father figure's need to get in the last word even after the son is asleep reminds me of those unpleasant people, and makes me want to avoid this book.

I love this book and read it to my 11 month old son. Unfortunately though, it seems he is a little young for the story and he really doesn't enjoy it. He can't get through the whole thing. I look forward to reading this to him at bedtime.
