Not super interesting but there was parts that intrigued me.

Atmospheric, subtly spooky, and wholesome all at the same time.

It was great! I will definitely be continuing with the series (specifically seeing that it is pretty short and got an adaptation). I have some issued with the way that text is shown. The spech bubbles do not really lead anywhere and the characters do not really have unique enough voices for it to be clear who is talking and when. At the very beginning and end different fonts are used for different characters, which helped to solve that, but it just left after a bit. Still, it is an interesting story, if a bit basic.

Nagabe art style is one of the prettiest things in the world, is mesmerising.
The story is beautiful and sad, highly recommended to anyone who wanna try something different (and sad, very very sad).

Nice and chill, too bad it's so short.

A cute and heartwarming story with enough darkness in it to make it interesting. The theme is about humanity/monstrostity.

Imo the rating (4.22 at this point) is a bit high. It reads like a story that has been told many times before. The little girl was very adult-gazy, she’s like an overtly optimistic small MPDG (manic pixie dream girl) yet can do mediaeval housework and knows how to bake. It’s romanticising and alienating, the way only an adult (dare I say a male adult?) would have imagined an ideal little girl.

I did enjoy the gloomy art style; tho sometimes it makes the details a little hard to make out.
