I felt like not much happened in this manga at all. There’s the introduction of two main characters, some mystery questions & a really good Cliffhanger. The art is not my favorite, but I am intrigued where the story is going.

I think this was a good first volume, but I had trouble connecting. I'm definitely going to continue though because there is a lot of nice atmosphere going on and I think there's a lot of potential.

A dreamlike story with elements of fairy tales: the fear of the outsider and monstrous beings; the dark forest; the innocent child. The subversion here--the child threatened by normal humans and protected by the monster--is delightful. A promising start.
