I am going to be honest here and say that I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did Levi's story. Did I still devour this? Absolutely. Was there a lot more things I had problems with? Yes. I hated how we didn't get to see Aiden's pov at all, I felt like I missed out on a lot of the plot because we never got to hear his thoughts and feelings and I know this is a trilogy so I am hoping that we get to see how he handles this but for now I found it a little more lost at parts. Also I found both Aiden and Elsa to be really annoying at parts, I adored Levi and I thought Aiden would have those qualities though I know he is supposed to be the villian I just found him insufferable at parts. Elsa mostly was the same, like I just wish she would make her mind up and stop with the back and fourth. I couldn't gel with Kim either in this book I still think she is upto something and I don't actually trust her I think she is going to be very sneaky. That being said I am really intrigued to see where this story goes and I still haven't worked out the big plot twist yet. For the next book I am just hoping I start to like Aiden and Elsa more. Though again this book was super easy reading and flowed really well, I am loving the Rina Kent world so far!

First of all, I listened to the audiobook—and oh my God, that British accent got me! It was so good, I couldn’t stop listening.
I devoured this book. It was dark, it was mysterious, and not a single secret was revealed. I’m familiar with bully romances, so it wasn’t hard to follow. From the very beginning, there was this mystery and maybe even a longing between Aiden and Elsa. He was clearly addicted to her, and I believe there’s more to their story than just the past.
Gosh, how much I loved the possessive side of Aiden. He really is lethal—but as a lover of dark romance, I was all in. I loved his dark side, and I loved how he was with Elsa.
Now, about that ending… what the hell?! No comment. I’m starting the next book right now.

it’s not that i didn’t rate this book, it’s that i gave it 0 stars. the characters need therapy just like the author who wrote this abomination.

Boys like this did not exist when I was in high school!! 🥵 Since I’m reading the Rina Kent universe backwards it is funny knowing that these are the parents of Eli and Creighton. 🤪
Cons:
You really have to set aside any feminist views you might hold, because this book will test your morals when it comes to consent. Also, Silver is a bitch! She better redeem herself when I get to her book.

Plenty of OW/OM drama through jealousy, no cheating.
