Finished! Geez that took me forever.

Okay… I need someone else to read this and tell me that it was actually such a fun book. Because the entire story seems like something that I would love. But I found myself not very interested in finishing and almost stopped multiple times. Maybe because it was SO clean? Hahaha and I might like something with a little bit more… adult content?

Wonderful book that tackled some pretty big topics but was also really easy to read. Emotions were up and down especially throughout the second half of the book.

Sigh… what do I say about this book? I have restarted this review multiple times. I wanted to love the story, but I just can’t. I know it’s supposed to be a fantastical romance, but it’s SO perfect it falls flat. Some plot points seem historically inaccurate. In the end, the story seems beautifully wrapped with little substance.
