Y'all.....I don't even know what to say. This easily tops almost all the dystopian novels I've read. I mean everything I craved for on books was served in this ONE SINGLE BOOK.
Actually I did predict three plot-twists in this book, and I didn't realize there were two protagonists until chapter 6, but NOBODY. GIVES. A. SHIT.
THE ENDING WAS PERFECT, THE CHARACTERS ARE PERFECT, THE WORLD IS PERFECT. I DO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE THINGS THAT IT LACKS. THIS IS PERFECT TO ME. PERIOD.

Very disturbing and beautiful
This is very different than what I usually read. It was dirty, gritty, and full of many truths. When and Rhys are great and I loved their story. Youngster the second one now!

Okay one of the best books I've ever read!
Wow this tugs on your heart in SO MANY ways. I used to love dystopian, but since the world's become a bit too dystopian for my liking I strayed away for a few years. This was a great way to hit that genre again. The characters were so complex and completely riveting. The flashbacks were perfectly placed, and it was truly an emotional rollercoaster. It was very very dark, but I could appreciate that and the realization that this could very well be real, and it is not too far off from atrocities humanity has already faced. It's a great reminder to enjoy what we have, but to always be a little cautious, because when power gets into the wrong hands trouble begins. Amazing work.

This book was super dark. To the point that it was hard to read sometimes. Furthermore, I did not expect that twist at the end. At first, I thought maybe Six was Abel, and that’s how Danni and Wren were connected. Then I though that Wren was Danni’s daughter, but alas, no. Turns out they were the same person.
