Very meh. I liked Jane’s story from the past more than Andrea’s story in the present and would have preferred the whole book being about Jane (though Andrea’s story starts off strong I think). Andy didn’t really do it for me as a protagonist, and I think the book was way too long for what it ended up being overall - not really the type of conclusion I like or expect from a mystery.
An altogether decent read, but I feel like I would've enjoyed it more if we'd unraveled Laura's past along with Andrea instead of seeing it unfold parallel to her present time storyline.

I really wanted to like this book, but I didn’t.
The plot just took a little too long to come together. Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention, but I honestly couldn’t connect any of the dots until the very end.
I see it’s going to become a Netflix series, and I actually think it will be pretty good as a series.
But for me, as a book, nah.

I really enjoyed this book. This is my first Karin Slaughter and I loved it. Can’t wait to read Girl,Forgotten next month. I loved the suspense
