So I just finished the audiobook for [b:Interview with the Vampire|43763|Interview with the Vampire (The Vampire Chronicles, #1)|Anne Rice|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1380631642l/43763._SY75_.jpg|873132]. To be honest, I enjoyed it but not that much. It was entertaining, but I felt like I was missing vital parts of the story. Reading through the same story through Claudia's eyes was EXACTLY what I needed!
This was such a spectacular adaption! The art was gorgeous. You can tell how much effort Witter put into making things historically accurate, and the character detail was just stunning! You'll definitely get more out of this if you've read Interview with the Vampire first, although it may be wonderful as a standalone vampire story if you choose not to.
Point is you should read this!

a cláudia é TÃO interessante. ela é um destaque mesmo na narrativa entediante do louis, e é um GRANDE destaque no filme e eu tava muito louca pra ler esses quadrinhos porque tudo que eu queria era ver mais o ponto de vista dela.
os quadrinhos são lindos, nunca li muitos mas realmente gostei desse, o detalhe do sangue é bem legal e tal. a única coisa que senti falta foi MAIS narração, tipo eu queria tanto saber o que a claudia tava sentindo em cada segundo da vida dela que acredito que só um livro desses não é o suficiente pra isso.

This was a really good insight into Claudia's feelings and reactions from when she was turned right through till the end.
I grew up loving the movie and always intrigued by Claudia. As soon as I saw this I knew I had to read it and I’m so glad I did. Not only was it good at keeping with the original story, but also adding a bit more and the art was beautiful

I enjoyed getting to see Claudia’s story brought to life in this graphic novel form, but I think it also makes how tragic her story is even more intense, since this is so focused on her, instead of the larger Interview story that includes her as just part of the story.
