The art is beautiful. I love the use of muted tones until the color red was involved. Quite striking. It has been many, many years since I read "Interview..." and this comic had me wanting to go back and read it again.
I enjoyed this way more than the novel. The art is stunning, I adored the detail of the red blood in the sepia tones. This is basically a summary of the story, but I felt it contained almost all the necessary info, apart from Louis' back story.
The art in this book was AMAZING but the story was nothing new. It was from Claudia's point of view, but there was nothing in it that you wouldn't already know from reading Interview with the Vampire.

The art style is beautiful and it's a treat to see my favorite characters reimagined/brought to life. My main criticism is that it doesn't add much. I wish the author had taken the chance to show some scenes of the 3 of them living happily for the 60+ years they did before it all went to shit. Both IWTV and TVL glaze over it but like Claudia said, "I want more". Also the story ends abruptly with Claudia's death, like I know it's her narration but I feel like it would have been better/more dramatic to end with Louis burning the theater.
Graphic: Gore, Blood
A quick but beautiful read which not only brought back the story of Claudia's life, but also ALL the feels that my gothy teenage self experienced the first time I read it.
The illustrations were absolutely beautiful, and the contrast of the blood on the sepia drawings was a vivid reminder of the goriness of the series.

The events of Interview with the Vampire from Claudia's perspective. Drawn in a very anime style with pretty women and prettier boys. So very, very emo.
I love it. The art and storytelling were both superb. This book left me satisfied and at the same time I still thirst for more. I haven’t read any of Anne Rice’s vampire chronicles so I really can’t compare this to those.
