2.5 stars rounded up.. I love Elin’s writing and her books are usually so easy to dive into! Unfortunately there was just no plot in my opinion. It was redundant and too long (this is one of her longer ones at 425 pages). Very cute but a frustrating read for me personally

After reading more heavy stuff lately I decided to reach for something more lighthearted, and I think that mostly fit that bill.
I liked that the story is told from multiple perspectives, including other people than just the twins, but something about this book fell a bit flat for me.
I found myself wanting to finish the book, but at the same time, I just wanted it to be over. The characters all had distinct personalities, which I liked, but I felt like there was just a lot of puttering around without really adding to the story.
I'm still willing to check out one or two of her other books to see if I like those better, and hopefully this was just a dud of hers.
