Re read April 2025 liked a lot more the second time around
3.5⭐️ this is so cute fr. All of the right things to make a good small town/cowboy romance. Emmy is so cute and so relatable with adhd representation.

A really enjoyable debut. I liked Emmy and Luke a lot. They were both very likeable and I loved that we got dual pov’s which gave great insight into both of them. Emmy’s struggle to get back to what she loved and figure out what to do next with her life were so relatable and Luke’s support through that was perfect. The way she returned the love and support when he needed it most gave me all the feels. The chemistry between them was a wonderful mix of soft and fire!! The author developed the relationship so well from the initial wariness to friendship to much more. I love that these to were in each other’s lives for so many years but did not really know one another until Emmy moved back home. A good cast of supporting characters as well which make me look forward to more from this series. 4 ⭐️
