The internal monologue of both characters was boring and repetitive. I also really dislike brothers and men in general that treat a woman like she can't have a life they don't approve of. Also, relationships and dynamics evolve. No one is just the little suster forever, failing to see the adult friend you can make out of your sibling is one thing, but treating them like they are 12 and looking out for them as if they aren't grown ass adults infuriates me.

Such a cute story about Emmy and Luke.

5 stars for narrator performance
2.5 chili peppers
4 stars for the story.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter. I always love listening to books narrated by Aaron, but Stella was new to me. I thoroughly enjoyed her as Emmy.

Emmy comes home from the circuit after an accident. Having ridden horses my whole life, I totally understood her feelings about the accident and aftermath. She bumps into Luke Brooks, her brothers best friend, and from there, the sweetest love story emerges.

Emmy and Luke had me grinning, giggling, kicking my feet, and even shed a tear.
