Absolutely loved everything about this. The love triangle is top tier, although I'm definitely on Team Blake. The twists and turns and all the tension was absolutely perfect! I listened to this on audio, and it was fantastic. The narrators were perfect and really truly brought these characters to life. The cliffhanger ending has me feral for the next one!

Wow what a sequel! I thought I knew where this was going but that ending took me off guard and eager for the next book. This kept me interested the whole way and loved the introduction of different "villians". Really loved all the characters and back and forth between them all. Sometimes definitely frustrated with Aurora and wanted her to just unleash throughout the story. I hope in book 3 she gets stronger and I want a mini fighting training arc badly.

The Night Prince by Lauren Palphreyman is such a fun, addictive read packed with romance, danger, and plenty of drama. Aurora’s journey continues to draw me in, and I loved seeing how much she’s grown stronger and more determined as the stakes kept rising.
The highlight for me was absolutely the relationship dynamics. The tension between Aurora and Blake is electric, intense, complicated, and impossible to look away from. Their connection has that perfect mix of passion and conflict that makes every scene between them so compelling. Callum, on the other hand, provides a steadier presence, loyal and protective in his own way, but for me it’s Blake who steals the spotlight. The chemistry between him and Aurora feels raw and magnetic, and I couldn’t help rooting for them.
The story itself moves quickly, full of twists and dark turns, and the world-building just keeps getting richer. Even with a few predictable moments, it was engaging from start to finish.
A strong 4-star read, definitely dramatic, romantic, and entertaining. And yes, I’m firmly Team Blake!
