A fascinating look into Harry’s world and mind. The writing style is super conversational and I feel like it might be better listening to the audiobook versus reading it. Sometimes it felt a little repetitive but I was engaged throughout.
I enjoyed this book because Harry’s life perspective/situation is so unique and not one you get to hear people talk openly about often. I thought it was longer than it needed to be though; I would’ve enjoyed it more had he cut down on the military stuff and talked more about his children and being a parent at the end. Overall I’m glad I listened. The middle section was exceedingly boring, just waiting for Harry to grow up a bit. But it is worth plugging through, if only to hear how he and Megan are treated, by the British press and ultimately the Royal family. The racism, lies, and stoic self-protection are infuriating, and it really demonstrates how inhumane an institution will become when it must preserve itself at all costs.
I never wanted to know this much about his penis.

4.5/5 stars. I found this book to be rather amazing and, dare I say, relatable. I know how odd that sounds considering it’s about an actually prince and I am not any sort of royalty, but family conflict, life, death, trauma, elation, true love, passion, the desire to make something of one’s life: these are all universal and while this book was at times a tad droll, all in all, it was a fascinating read and I have been thinking about it since I finished it.
Now if someone would just want to purchase my dysfunctional family story and turn it into a multi-million dollar book deal! Hahaha!
