DID NOT FINISH: 51%

i do not understand how guys breaking up with you bec they thought you were biologically not compatible and they were scared you might get hurt could be blamed for an eating disorder. the eating disorder started when her mom and doctors started telling her to eat less. the only control she had at the they left was her food which prompted more disordered eating behaviour. i’m sorry i don’t think you could put that on the guys which makes the very basis of this plot bad. she should be mad at the health care system!

at the point i’m dnfing someone had walk her through why the guys did what they did…. and she’s trying blame the guys for everything. she kind of hard to root for.

This is the second addition to the Lunarcrest City world, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first (Knot All Is Perfect) .
Jordan’s story broke my heart few times, with lies from her best friends/first loves, and taking so long to finally come out as an Omega. The first part of her story until she meets Icarus sets up so well for the rest of the book.
The grovelling in this novel is absolutely top class. Whilst I can understand why characters acted the way they did at the time, Jordan was a saint to take them back, and I can think of a hundred ways I’d have had them working their way back into the good graces. I do have a very soft spot for Simon the whole way through <3
And like every good Omegaverse, it all comes into one big, spicy heat. Fantastic read, will probably pick it up again in future!

Thank you for the ARC!

I absolutely loved this book! I love how all sides of the situation were discussed. And I love how she knew when she needed to talk to her therapist. Mental health was a big deal in this book for Jordan. I think my favorite is a split between Simon and Icarus. I do wish that the big moment for Jordan and Cyrus was alittle more then it was since I think in his mind he had done the most damage it didn't feel as big for me. Absolutely loving this series and can't wait until the next book!

This book has got the GROVEL! I realllllly enjoy a good grovel and THIS GROVEL DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Squeeeee! Heartfelt, spicy, and a touch of trauma (in the past, but makes small appearances). I love the mix of forging new relationships, resurrecting past relationships, and how the pack grows together to become a cohesive unit.

Not only did this story not disappoint, I really like the world this author is crafting between this story and Knot all is Perfect. Significant references to the societal restrictions and discriminatory policies placed around and on a minority group may ring some bells for people. The lack of individual rights and bodily autonomy (sound familiar to anyone?) highlighted brings just enough of a totally serious topic to a luscious love story. I really hope in future books in this series we see advances made for the rights of our darling omegas.

And that epilogue!?!? Excuse me, I am feeling feral for the next book now!

Will I reread? Yes!
Would I recommend to those interested in this genre? Yes!

I loved this so much!! I was so happy to have received an ARC of this book. I loved the premise of the story and I loved watching the relationships come together at different times. I like how even though she was letting them in there were still hard conversations and disagreements. I loved Vick and the Peaches Song lived in my head for most of that book.

All the stars for the perfect amount of groveling. Jordan is a lovely character and I appreciate the amount of therapy she goes through; it makes the way she handles the incident believable.

Each Alpha brought something different to the table, and I'm glad each one apologized in a different way. Wasn't repetitive.

I appreciated that she made them actually work for it, but I had a hard time getting past the names and some of the dialog
