Work place romance, guy falls first, love at first sight. I imagined Ben barnes the whole way through this so it made it extra entertaining.” Ok so Ben was lit obsessed with her straight from the beginning and people could find it cute, but I found if disturbing and it was swaying on borderline creepy. So full on that I would have ran in the other direction. I mean well played Ben you got her. Sera and her relationship with JJ and Bruce saved the book for me, it was so sweet. And the drama toward the end added an extra something to the book. Overall, it gets a 3 stars, I did like it and it was enjoyable, but Ben was stalkerish/creepy (sort of) and some things he said … em jail!

Loved it

I laughed and fell in love with Ben. It’s a guaranteed laugh out loud romantic comedy. The main character, Sera annoyed me at times but Ben was really patient *cue swoon*

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would have for this book. Made me laugh out loud, had me in tears, gave me butterflies...everything I could ask for from a romance book.

Sera is always a good girl. Steps up for her family, supports her sister, never breaks the rules. Until she meets a super sexy guy in a club and has an out of character romp in the back of his car.

When she realises he is also her new boss she resolves to remain professional but Ben has other ideas.

I loved these characters...both the main characters but also the supporting cast! Ben is a shameless flirt and smoulders all the time...but only has eyes for Sera. Sera reminds me of me in soooo many ways. I too find it hard to break the rules!

Jo Watson's style is delightful. And I love that her romances are set in South Africa and not London, New York or a quaint little village for a change. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it's nice to get an idea of different places.

I have read over 60 romances this year and the last 3 have been Jo Watson...she has made me cry 3 times! I read for an escape and so I want a happy ending, a good pace, a good sexy scene or two and to be made to feel something!

Highly highly recommend

I wasn’t sure how to feel about this book. On the one hand, I absolutely can’t stand the trope of ‘hot rich man won’t leave seemingly normal girl alone till she eventually falls for him’ but the other parts of this story were very well written and quite sweet.

I find the whole concept rather creepy and uncomfortable, BUT I also love the way the leading lady Sera is written in certain parts too, she’s openly sexual and individually a strong character.

On a whole, it’s a quick and easy book to read if you want a quick romance fix.
